Splash Dance was formed by Charlotte Henson to offer children classes in RAD Ballet, ISTD Modern and Tap. Charlotte has been teaching for 15 years starting out at a school in Bath which gave her the training and a lot of experience in managing a large established school.  She then left to attend a school more local and helped to build the school up to 300 pupils before setting up her own school.

The two boards that SDA follow are the RAD – Royal Academy of Dance and the ISTD – Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Taking exams are not compulsory but every child will be given the option at some point. Children love to take exams as it shows them the progress that they make throughout the years.  SDA has a 100% pass rate with the majority of children gaining Distinctions and Merits. We also offer pre-school Ballet and Modern classes designed with the younger child in mind. The Ballet works along side the pre-school curriculum and Melody Bear Movement with a set aim after each year.

Students will also have the opportunity to take part in an annual event which gives the students the chance to show what they have achieved throughout the year, this also allows parents to watch the students perform and have fun away from syllabus work.
